Young Rascal will be aimed at the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups.
Previously prepared by English trainer William Haggas, Young Rascal is staying in Australia after a Sydney autumn campaign after OTI Racing acquired a 50 percent interest.
Alexander said he was "very excited to have Young Rascal joining the team".
Young Rascal won the group 3 Manion Cup, 2400m, in Sydney before running seventh as favourite in the Sydney Cup, 3200m.
OTI Racing has been strong supporter of Alexander since he launched his training career in Ballarat in 2014, providing his stable with some well performed imported stayers.
The OIT-raced Renew was among Alexander early runners, winning a Sandown Cup and running third in the Adelaide Cup.
Lord Fandango won a Herbert Power before finishing fourth in the Caulfield Cup.
