A teenager has been arrested and charged by police following an alleged pursuit around Ballarat in the early hours of Monday morning.

It is alleged a 15-year-old girl driving a Ford Ranger drove at a police car on the Daylesford-Ballan Road just after 1.30am.
A police pursuit was initiated, onto the Western Freeway.
The Ford Ranger was pursued to Barkly Street, near Grant Street, at Golden Point.
There, the female driver stopped and is alleged to have run from the scene.
She was pursued and arrested nearby.
The Miners Rest teenager has been charged with a string of offences, including theft of a motor vehicle, driving at police, evading police and other traffic related offences.
She has been remanded and will appear at a children's court today.
Ballarat Crime Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances and whether the incident is linked to a burglary at Trentham.
