Obiyo Chigozie Nwigwe applied to vary his bail address through the new Online Magistrates' Court system at Ballarat on Tuesday.
The man's charge sheets state he allegedly groomed, touched and sexually penetrated a child between January and April 2020.
The 43-year-old is facing a total of 12 charges, but defence lawyer David Tamanika told the court an additional complaint against his client had been made and he was awaiting the full hand up brief.
Nwigwe is accused of intentionally sexually touching a child under 16 and engaging in a sexual activity in their presence in March 2020, in 'circumstances where the touching was contrary to community standards of acceptable conduct'.
It is alleged Nwigwe groomed a child under 16 between January and April by communicating with intention to facilitate a sexual offence and sexually touched a child in February and March.
Nwigwe is facing five charges of sexually penetrating a child under 16 in March.
Nwigwe remains on bail.
He will return to court for a committal mention on August 6.
A filing hearing was heard in May and a final intervention order was made on June 1.
