On Sunday afternoon, CHFL manager Diane Ryan confirmed that board members were in the process of ticking off on the draws for under-12, under-15 and under-18 competitions.
If given the green light, the fixtures would then be sent to clubs.
The CHFL abandoned seniors and reserves seasons, but decided to forge ahead with junior grades given sufficient interest from member clubs.
Eight clubs are in for the under-12s, nine for the under-15s and 10 for the under-18s.
No junior netball will be played in the Central Highlands league this year.
Meanwhile, Ballarat Football Netball League manager Shane Anwyl expects five or six clubs to be involved in junior competition this season.
The BFNL called off senior divisions last week, but is aiming to run junior football and netball in 2020.
