All he wants to do is get his coaching career with the Ballarat Football League club in full swing
This year was to have been his first in charge of the Cobras, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the season to be called off.
German said while he was initially disappointed when the BFL season was abandoned, in retrospect with the spread of the coronavirus in Melbourne it had been the right decision - one he was now extremely comfortable with.
German said he could not be happier with his experience at Bacchus Marsh to date.
He said everything had fallen into place well. "Its been really good."
German said it was always a good sign when newcomers fitted well into a new environment and this had been his experience and that of other recruits at Bacchus Marsh.
He expects the bulk of the Cobras' senior list to stay on board for 2021.
He said the majority of the club's recruits had already recommitted for next season.
German said there was every likelihood Bacchus Marsh would look to further boost its player stocks.
"You never close the door. There's lot of water to pass under the bridge."
He said much of the planning would depend on player points and what was expected to be a reduced salary cap - matters being dealt with AFL Victoria at the moment.
German replaced Peter Davey, who resigned after just one season with the Marsh.
He played with the Calder Cannons before being rookie listed by Essendon, where he was part of the Bombers' VFL program.
He also played with Williamstown and Northern Bullants in the VFL
Melbourne-based German made the move to Bacchus Marsh after three years with Mansfield in the Goulburn Valley league.
