Police are calling for witnesses to a brazen daylight attack on an elderly man in Creswick on Sunday morning.

It is believed the elderly man was walking down Victoria Street and towards the railway line about 11.30am when three young people began verbally abusing him.
The young people, who police believe are aged between 10 and 12, proceeded to throw stones and other objects at the man.
Police say the young people continued to antagonise the man and followed him home.
It is not believed that the man was physically injured, though he was left shaken.
Police are investigating the incident and are calling for anyone who witnessed what occurred to contact them.
Police want to remind the community that in the case of an emergency, when an urgent police response is required, that community members should call 000 so the closest police unit can respond.
