The latest business to call for help is the Creswick Woollen Mills, which has already battled through a difficult six months without international tourists.
Executive director Boaz Herszfeld said now more than ever is the time where the business needs support from the community surrounding it.

"Things are quite scary without international and Melbourne visitors," he said.
"We've always loved our regional Victorian visitors and our Ballarat visitors... What our challenge is right now is to encourage people who have never been to the Mills to come in.
"We've got this beautiful facility in Creswick - this is the time to come and support us."
Creswick Woollen Mills has faced market challenges since December, when bushfires affected sales at retail stores in locations around Victoria and the business lost about a third of its customers when Chinese visitation was ceased.
Mr Herszfeld said he has been encouraged by the number of visitors from around regional Victoria the business hosted at the weekend.
"A huge proportion of the postcodes we've seen over the past few days have been from elsewhere in regional Victoria," he continued.
"We've had people visit from Wodonga, Maryborough, Hamilton and Geelong recently... people have told us that they wanted to continue supporting us during this period. There's a really good affinity there with regional Victoria."
Moving forward, he hopes Ballarat residents who have never been to the Mills may potentially come forward and help support them during the difficult period.
"Everyday we'll meet someone from Ballarat that's never been to the Creswick Woollen Mills. Our region isn't in lockdown, so we want to encourage people to get out and support all local businesses that are in need of support."
