CRESWICK police have interviewed three youths in relation to the alleged assault of an elderly man on Sunday morning.

The elderly man was walking down Victoria Street towards the railway line about 11.30am when three young people allegedly began verbally abusing him.
The young people then allegedly proceeded to throw stones and other objects at the man and followed him home.
The man was not injured, but was left shaken.
Creswick police have been conducting an investigation and have interviewed two boys aged 12 and a girl aged 13 in relation to the alleged assault.
The young people have all been released pending summons to attend court.
