The BCA says it has listened to club feedback and eliminated the 20-overs-per-side games from the regular rounds.

Last year, a handful of T20 clashes were played for premiership points and counted towards the overall ladder standings. A separate T20 ladder also determined finals for that competition, which was won by Darley.

"There are a few changes from last season with no T20 matches within any grade based on feedback from clubs post-season," a statement on the BCA's Facebook page read.

"We'll look to have a T20 comp with a few different options being floated around but we won't finalise anything until we get a bit closer."

The new fixture dates see the 2020-21 season kicking off on October 3 for firsts, seconds and thirds, with fourths starting a week later and fifths a week after that.

While no date has been locked in for the AFL grand final, a break has been placed in the cricket season on October 24 for that game.

Three Saturdays - December 26, January 2 and January 9 - have been left out for the Christmas and new year period.

The first grade competition has just one one-day fixture, with the rest of the games being scheduled as two-day contests. All fourth grade encounters are two-dayers, while one-dayers run throughout the fifth grade fixture.

A Saturday-Sunday clash is penciled in for the seconds and thirds on November 28 and 29.

Finals are booked to get underway on March 13 across all divisions, with the season to end on March 28.
