Club presidents had their latest gathering on Thursday night - agreeing to cautiously continue on with the competition.
BDSA vice-president Mark Powell said there had been a frank discussion, with the meeting determining to keep going.
He said everyone was in agreement with the need to continue to emphasise social distancing and all the other required protocols to those attending games.
Powell said clubs would also be encouraging everyone to wear masks at matches from Sunday - a day before it became mandatory across Victoria.
"We're all in this together and we all have to do as much as we can to keep everyone safe," he said.
Powell said the BDSA was sourcing as much advice as a possible - including protocols with regard to players and masks.
The BDSA juniors play round four on Sunday, with no further team withdrawals in the past week.
Bacchus Marsh pulled out its teams on the eve of round three.
