It's official - Pyrenees Shire now has a COVID-19 case after going all this time without an infection. The shire, west of Ballarat including such towns Beaufort, Avoca, Lexton and Trewalla, was still on edge but the first case was made official on Sunday.
And while we're on the topic of COVID-19, now that masks are compulsory, what are the options?
Make sure you know the best way to dispose of single-use masks. It could save someone's life.
Much like tourism and accommodation (and basically every industry), COVID-19 has had a huge effect on weddings. Industry experts believe it will be about 12 months behind in filling wedding requests - and it could be even longer now due to new restrictions across the state.
Sources alleging that many long-serving staff at Central Goldfields Shire Council had "resigned, left or been moved on" is false, according to chief Lucy Roffey.
