The Ballarat suburbs of Delacombe, Sebastopol and Wendouree have been cleared of any active cases of COVID-19.
According to health department data, there are no longer any active coronavirus cases in the following postcodes:
- 3355 (Lake Gardens, Mitchell Park, Wendouree, Wendouree Village)
- 3356 (Delacombe/Sebastopol)
- 3357 (Buninyong)
- 3358 (Winter Valley)
The postcodes are recorded by where an infected person lives, not where they were tested or where they contracted coronavirus.
In Ballarat there are 18 active cases as of Friday morning and 17 of them fall within the 3350 postcode.
Unfortunately, this figures covers the the vast majority of the city and further details are not currently available.
LOOK AT THE MAP BELOW OF ACTIVE CASES
That does leave one active case remaining, which is likely to be in the 3352 postcode, which has two cases.
However, the 3352 postcode is particularly troublesome, given its massive coverage area.
This enormous postcode geographically the stretches far to the east, south and west of Ballarat.
Case data cannot be refined to exact towns because of privacy reasons, postcode data has been released by the health department in a move to be more transparent.

Remember to maintain good hand hygiene, wear a mask when in public, and keep a 1.5 metre distance from others at all times.
Right now in regional Victoria, there are only four reasons to leave the house under stage three restrictions: care and caregiving, local exercise, buying necessary items, and work or study if you're unable to do so at home.
