In a statement on its website on Friday morning, Woolworths said the store had been closed for a deep clean.
It also said "the risk of transmission to customers and team members is low".
Anybody who shopped in the store on Thursday, July 23 is advised to monitor their health closely.
Woolworths became aware of the case on Wednesday, August 5.
The staff member did not present with any symptoms of illness while working. They are now in self-isolation.

There has been no additional information about the specifics of the case supplied by Woolworths.
The store was closed overnight for a deep clean on Thursday, as per regular trading hours, but opened on Friday.
There were six Woolworths stores closed statewide, the others at Point Cook, Blackburn North, St Helena, Cranbourne North and St Kilda.

The notification comes after Ballarat recorded an additional three cases on Thursday, to now have 16 active cases in the city.
Among the new cases confirmed this week was a student at Ballarat Health Services, while four cases are connected to a bakery in Latrobe Street.
