A Delacombe butcher has closed and is awaiting further instructions from the Department of Health and Human Services after a staff member tested positive to COVID-19.

Head butcher at Sinclair Meats on Latrobe Street, Simon Hutton, confirmed the shop received a phone call from doctors about 11.30am on Friday.
A casual customer service worker had tested positive, he said.
The store was immediately closed, and any orders or deliveries were stopped from leaving the premises.
Mr Hutton said all staff had been contacted and had been asked to self-isolate, and he was now phoning customers who had ordered products.
The butcher is two blocks, or more than 700 metres, away from the bakery on Latrobe Street that confirmed positive cases yesterday.
At time of writing, there are 16 confirmed active cases in Ballarat.
