Police have taken numerous reports of residents' cars being broken into in the early hours of Friday morning.
At least six cars were broken into at Trentham, in addition to at least four in Daylesford.
The break-ins occurred around High Street in Trentham and around Central Springs Road in Daylesford.
Forced entry was not used to gain access to any of the cars.

There have been no reports of home burglaries.
Senior Constable Jeremy Freckleton said police were in the early stages of their investigation and were piecing together exactly what happened.
Police are appealing for witnesses of any suspicious activity, especially between 5 and 8am, to contact police.
CCTV would also be useful.
