Trained by Paddy Payne in Miners Rest, the five-year-old mare took out the Porter Plant BM64 Handicap - Synthetic Sprint Series Heat 5 (1200m).
Ronay, by Delago Deluxe out of Lovable, has won all of her career races at the home all-weather track.
The success was also a special one for apprentice jockey Tayla Childs.
Childs only started riding in May this year, but now has five wins in the saddle.
Other locally-trained winners at the Ballarat meeting came from the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable (Classy Pins) and the Matt Cumani yard (Hit The Shot).
Young up-and-coming local jockey Will Price also rode a winner on the eight-race program. He partnered Paris Gem for Kyneton trainer Sue Naylor.
