Money In My Pocket ($10) saluted in the Polytrack Maiden, 1200m, on the synthetic track and No Nay Emerald ($5) scored in the Carlton Draught Maiden, 1000m.
They took a parallel lead up into their second race starts, having filled the top two spots in a jump-out.
Freedman said he had liked Money In My Pocket right from the outset.
He said having been a little "weak" on debut, the daughter of Headwater still had some physical development to go, with plenty improvement left in her as she strengthened up.
The Shay Keating-trained The Bont ($7) again showed his liking for an all-weather surface by dashing away with the Hygain Winners Choice Benchmark Handicap, 1100m.
Although the seven-year-old had now won since December 2017, his two previous successes had been on the former Geelong synthetic track.
Freedman and Keating were part of a massive day for Ballarat stables, which won six of the eight races.
Like Freedman, the Ciaron Maher and David Eustaace had a running double.
Heljami ($3.50) won the Porter Plant Benchmark64, 1500m, and Piccatric ($3 favourite) led home the field in the Sportsbet Benchmark64, 2100m.
Each was a head of Polytrack series.
Matt Cumani rounded out the day with Once Upon A Dream ($17) in the Hygain Winners Choice Benchmark58, 1200m.
