The coronavirus pandemic has claimed so many 2020 events across Ballarat. One event still hoping to go ahead is Cycling Australia's Road Nationals in January. A decision looks set to be made in October.
COVID-19 restrictions continue across Ballarat, however there is concern over the public using council facilities - such as playgrounds and skateparks.
Due to this 'wicked enemy', young people are concerned about their financial future, alarming new statistics reveal.
It's been more than five months and one Smeaton COVID-19 survivor is still not over the effects. "You sort of wake up every day now thinking 'what's going to happen?'" he said.
The growing trend of people - particularly underage drinkers - ordering alcohol at home is a worry during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
And now - thankfully not to do with the pandemic - a group of Daylesford residents have raised concerns about a proposed new planning control as part of the Hepburn Planning Scheme Review, which they believe strips them of their development and land use rights.
