Daylesford Rotary president, David Stagg, said the club was keen to host the art show this year.
One reason for this is so the region's many artists have an opportunity to sell their works, with the other that it is the club's biggest fundraiser of the year - with the majority of the proceeds injected back into the community.
This year the art show will be virtual, with art to be exhibited and sold online for a month from October 30. But organisers are still hoping restrictions will be lifted in time for them to host the long running annual art show at the Daylesford Town Hall during the Melbourne Cup Long Weekend in some capacity.
The club supports many local causes, including the Daylesford Good Grub Club, as well as other international causes such as fighting polio and providing sanitary items for girls in underprivileged communities.
Last year's show included more than 300 works from more than 100 local artists.
Mr Stagg called on artists to enter their works, so this year's show could be bigger than ever.
Entry to the virtual show will require the artist to photograph and measure works, but Rotary members are offering their assistance if need be.
There are a number of prizes up for grabs, including $1000 for best overall, $500 for best traditional and $500 for best non-traditional.
Entries must be made by October 2.
