Among items discussed will be the season start date and preparation time for senior players.
In the meantime, BCA president Rob Florence said the board would gather all the information and guidelines it could before making decisions.
"We can only base our decision on the health authorities and the government and to a certain extent Cricket Victoria," he said.

At present, the BCA is still committed to its original opening start date of October 3. However new guidelines released on Sunday by the state government mandate that competitions will have to wait until statewide regional COVID-19 cases drop below an average of five for 14 consecutive days before starting.
With the new guidelines set to come into effect on September 13, Florence conceded an October 3 start would be challenging.
"We are conscience of the fact it's still uncertain and no definite plans can be made for a start date," he said.
"But we've got scenarios on what our fixtures would look like depending on when we can start."
Preparation time will also need to be considered.
Darley senior cricket coach Brian Wheelahan said even two weeks was realistically not enough time to prepare for senior players.
"I live in Melton and am in stage four lockdown restrictions, so I can't even get to Darley to coach my players," he said.
