With hooning a key focus for Creswick police, they are running an operation to target dangerous driving behaviour at night during the next few weeks.
Just before midnight, police intercepted a 26-year-old male driver of a blue Nissan Navara at the three arches on Bald Hills Road.
Having been disqualified from driving earlier in the year, his vehicle was impounded for a month.
The driver will front Ballarat Magistrates Court on summons.
To report hoon driving, call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
