A 33-year-old woman has avoided immediate imprisonment for dishonesty offences occurring in Ballarat throughout last year.

Tenelle Carr, of Ballarat, was sentenced to a 15-month community corrections order at the online Ballarat Magistrates Court on Friday.
Magistrate Letizia Torres told Carr her offending was very serious and it was important she stopped using drugs.
Carr's offending included thefts and theft of a motor vehicle.
She will be supervised on her community corrections order, be assessed and treated for drug abuse, participate in mental health programs and be monitored by the magistrate.
The magistrate ordered Carr attend the Ballarat Magistrates Court on November 22 to monitor her progress.
Carr had spent 62 days in pre-sentence detention, and although Ms Torres said this was a significant punishment, she did not include this in the sentence.
Carr's driver's licence was suspended for 14 days on the theft of motor vehicle charge.
