In the past five years or so, Bill Driscoll has probably clocked up more kilometres in travel than the average country footballer will in a lifetime.

But it hasn't deterred him from committing to another season with Springbank in the Central Highlands Football League.
Driscoll lives in Wollongong, but flies back and forth for matches throughout the season. And, all things being normal, he'll be doing it once again in 2021.
The three-time North Ballarat Roosters premiership player has told Tigers coach Joe Otto he's on board for another campaign, which will be his seventh in yellow and black.
Driscoll had planned to continue the long-distance travel in 2020, but has played a handful of games in his home region due to the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down community football here in Victoria.
"I was always going to do it in 2020 but because of what happened I obviously couldn't," Driscoll said.
"I said to Buckets (Otto) and Springbank I'd certainly commit for 2021 if we weren't going ahead this year."
Driscoll said given the uncertainty of the COVID-19 situation, there was still a possibility that he'd be unable to play in Victoria next year.
"They still might have borders shut. I'd still like to commit and then tackle those issues as they arise I suppose," he said.
"At the moment, everything going well, it will just be what we've been doing in the past few years. Nothing will change from our end, it will just be depending on what's going on worldwide."
Driscoll has been a star since joining Springbank in 2014 and played a big hand in guiding the club to back-to-back premierships in 2015 and 2016. He has been a regular in the CHFL team of the year, including in 2019 when he was selected on a forward flank. He kicked 33 goals while being named in the Tigers' best seven times.
The news of Driscoll's return comes on the back of confirmation that Otto will go on as senior coach in 2021.
The Tigers finished last season in seventh position on the ladder before being beaten in the elimination final by Beaufort.
