NSW South Coast garbage truck driver Wayne Jones, of Nowra, and mechanic Charlie Schusser have brought smiles to kids in the Shoalhaven and beyond.
The duo have given children with serious illness or disabilities - or those who just love grabage trucks - the opportunity to take a drive in the monster machines.

Mr Schusser said the project began when he saw a young man walking back and forth outside the workshop.
"I asked him what he was doing, and he said he liked garbage trucks," Mr Schusser said.
"I told him to come in and have a look, we got him a t-shirt and a truck and it started from there."
Mr Jones said he often sees kids who are entranced by the big, noisy truck while he is on his route.
In fact, he said it happened so often he had a toy monkey secured to the side mirror to keep kids away from the rear of the vehicle, where they could get hurt.
He began to purchase trucks for those who were most interested, and with the approval of their workplace, he and Mr Schusser began to let parents bring their kids to the depot of a Friday to have a turn driving and operating a truck themselves.
They also get specially-embroidered high-vis shirts for kids involved.
"They just love the trucks," Mr Jones said.
"And it makes you feel good to bring some joy into the world."
Although they've had to curtail their Friday sessions due to COVID-19 restrictions, they are hopeful they will be able to start up again soon.
