Reclink made a donation of sporting goods to Ballarat Health Services mental health team on Tuesday for Mental Health Week.
Reclink Central Victorian Sports Coordinator Andrew Dunn said COVID-19 had been tough for young people with lockdown restrictions and sporting competitions put on hold.
Now is a good opportunity for people to get re-acquainted with sport, have a run around and feel good about themselves and take their mind off all the problems in the world at the moment.

He said the sporting equipment donation would help Ballarat Health Services clients remain active.
"Mental health, especially for youth, has been a major issue during COVID," he said.
"Now is a good opportunity for people to get re-acquainted with sport, have a run around and feel good about themselves and take their mind off all the problems in the world at the moment."
Ballarat Health Services executive director of acute operations Ben Kelly said exercise was incredibly important for mental health.
"We sincerely thank Reclink for their support through the donation of sporting goods to our mental health team," he said.
"In addition to the physical benefits, this will create opportunities for our clients to learn new skills, be social, and be included in sporting activities."
Reclink runs a free weekly cricket competition throughout the summer months and runs 'Come and Try' sports days for various groups of young people.
"We are starting to get back to outdoor activities in regional areas and cricket is the first cab off the rank," Mr Dunn said.
Mr Dunn said Reclink staff had been in regular phone contact with participants throughout the coronavirus pandemic and offered online options for physical activity like yoga and fitness challenges.
He said continued engagement in physical activity and the social connection that comes with sport was important for young people's mental health and well-being.
