Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted in Daylesford on Friday night.

The Liquorland employee, aged in his early 20s, had just locked up the store for the night when the assault occurred.
The victim was exiting the car park area after his shift and had turned into Bridport Street when he was assaulted by an unknown male just before 10.30pm.
The victim, who has been left shaken, suffered minor injuries as a result of the assault. He was not robbed.
Acting Sergeant Brett Eden, of Daylesford Police, said police were continuing to conduct enquiries.
Police are appealing to any witnesses in the area at the time, or anyone with information about the assault, to contact them on 5348 2342.
