Called "Outdoor Futsal", games will start next week from Tuesday for all 18/under competitions.
Club members will be busy over the weekend setting up pitches outside at Woodmans Hill Secondary College in East Ballarat.
Futsal is a high-paced version of soccer that is usually played indoors with five players on each team. The new outdoor competitions cater for both boys and girls with under-six to under-18 divisions.
Current state government COVID-19 restrictions mean indoor venues are out of action for futsal.
"We are extremely excited to be able to bring the sport back to the community," Futsal Ballarat managing director Dermott Tebb said.
"We had over 750 members prior to COVID-19 restrictions coming in to place and understand how positive it is for them both physically and mentally."
