The league has confirmed eight clubs - Clunes, Creswick, Ballan, Beaufort, Daylesford, Gordon, Learmonth and Skipton - will be part of the event, which is scheduled for Sunday November 15.
Each club will get to play three matches consisting of two 12-minute halves.
At any point in time there will only be four clubs present at the Learmonth ground. Four will be part of the morning session - starting at 10am - before the others compete during the afternoon, which kicks off from 1.30pm.
Other key parts of the CHFL's COVID-safe plan include:
- Each player is only able to be accompanied by one parent/guardian who must have the COVID app on their phone
- Each club must provide to the CHFL management a sheet identifying the name of the accompanying parent/guardian and a contact number prior to the team's first match
- Spectators should where possible remain at their vehicles during the day
- No spectators are permitted on the oval at any time
- Spectators must wear face masks whenever they are out of their vehicle
- Each club should provide their own hand sanitiser for players and officials
- Changerooms are only available for toilets and individual player changing. No teams to gather in changerooms
- Footballs must be sanitised with wipes after each break
- When teams have finished their matches they will be required to leave the venue
- All clubs must supply one COVID officer who has undertaken the online course
CHFL manager Diane Ryan said all clubs must adhere to the protocols for the event to take place and that they will be enforced, including a refusal of entry if more spectators per player than is allowed arrive.
The INTERSPORT Ballarat Round Robin will also include netball on the day.
