The agreement, which was announced on Thursday, will see Hontondo Homes Ballarat remain the official naming partner of the senior men's team until the end of the 2022 NBL1 South season.
Ballarat Miners head coach Brendan Joyce said the announcement would guarantee the Miners important sponsorship dollars so they could stay competitive on the court.
"Under the circumstances, we are thankful they've done this, it will help us sign players and put the best team we can on the floor," he said.
Basketball Ballarat partnership manager Andrew Day said the announcement was a positive step forward for Basketball in the Western Region, in what has been a tumultuous year for the sporting industry.
"This is a significant announcement for the Miners and with such a great local company in Hotondo Homes Ballarat understanding our vision and wanting to continue working with us in growing and developing basketball across the region, we are simply thrilled to continue this partnership for a further two seasons." Day said.
"It is a real testament to Adrian, Amira, Brenton and Lisa from Hotondo Homes Ballarat with all the challenges that are in the economy at the moment and the difficulties that sport in general are experiencing, so to see this commitment to our programs shows the confidence they see in the growth of sport."

Owner of Hotondo Homes Ballarat Amira Willingham was delighted to make the announcement at the Ballarat Sports Events Centre.
