Ryan McKew and Daniel Knaggs have recommitted to the squad for the 2021 season. They will lead the program into the upcoming Big V youth championship competition.
"We are very excited, it's been a difficult year for a number of our guys but we are excited to get back on court and start training," McKew said.
The BigV Youth Championship is the top division in the state for players under 23. The Miners were promoted into the league after winning the Big V youth league one title in 2019.
McKew and Knaggs were in line to lead the squad into its first season in the top grade, however the 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The squad will enter the 2021 season without senior players Ross Weightman and Blake Allison who have now aged out of the program.
"It was a bit disappointing they didn't get their chance after putting in the work," McKew said.
