Longstanding skipper Tom Petersen has moved interstate.
Burra football manager Shawne Dummett said Petersen had given tremendous service to the club, providing experience and leadership through some tough times.
He had the honour of leading Sebastopol in the 2019 grand final in what has turned out to be his last game with the club.
Petersen started his BFL career with East Point and joined the Burra in 2011.
He quickly made an impression to become vice-captain in 2012 and stepped into the role of captain when Malcom Niblett was forced out of the 2013 season with a knee reconstruction.
Petersen joins Brett Goodes (retired), Jordan Gercovich (Rokewood-Corindhap) and Geoff Lovett (Buninyong) as departures from the 2019 grand final line-up.
Dummett said last season's recruits had all recommitted.
