Up until last weekend, teams had been bowling groups of overs from one end, but will revert to the traditional method of swapping ends at the completion of each over.
It was confirmed by Cricket Victoria early this week that umpires now don't have to wear masks on-field and this has been reiterated by the BCA.
"Face masks are to be available on each person (in pockets) for when required indoors or outdoors where there is an inability to keep 1.5m distance from others," the guidelines read.
While there has been some changes, many of the association's COVID-safe protocols remain in place, including the need to take regular breaks for players to sanitise hands.
