The 67-year-old was found on McKinnon Road about 6.35pm on Thursday, after he was last seen at his home about 10pm on Tuesday November 24.
He was being checked over by ambulance crews before being re-united with his family.
Police thanked the public and media for their help in the search for Mr Parker, for whom they had significant concern.
Search and Rescue, Mounted Branch, local police, Country Fire Authority and the State Emergency Services conducted a grid search of the Dunolly area on Thursday.
EARLIER: Police are undertaking a grid search of Dunolly to find missing man Michael Parker.
The 67-year-old was last seen at his home about 10pm on Tuesday, November 24.
Maryborough Inspector Donna Mitchell said the Search and Rescue, Mounted Branch, State Emergency Service and Country Fire Authority were also taking part in the search on Thursday morning.
She said police were concerned about Mr Parker's welfare as he was very vulnerable and required daily medication.

Inspector Mitchell said police believed the 67-year-old was on foot as he had not taken his car.
Mr Parker also did not take his mobile phone with him.
Inspector Mitchell said anyone who saw Mr Parker should speak with him, give him some food and water, and call 000.
People could also contact the Maryborough Police Station on 5460 3300 if they knew anything about Mr Parker's whereabouts.
