Truck fire causes closure of Ballarat-bound Western Freeway lanes
The Western Freeway is closed westbound at Greendale-Myrniong Road due to a truck fire.

Victoria Police are letting trucks through with all other traffic being diverted off the freeway at Greendale-Myrniong Road.
Motorists can then return to the freeway via Ballan-Greendale Road.
The closure is under the control of Victoria Police. The westbound lanes of the freeway will re-open when investigations are complete and it's safe to do so.
Meanwhile, firefighters have controlled a grassfire at Amphitheatre this afternoon.
Emergency crews including brigades from Talbot, Avoca, Amphitheatre, Lexton, Elmhurst, Langi Kal Kal, Waubra attended the fire, bringing it under control just after 5.30pm.
