Works have begun on a new, almost $200,000 sensory garden and inclusive playground for the school's 24 pupils which will add an extra element of fun after the old wooden playground was dismantled several weeks ago.
And the school will consult with families over the next two weeks about priorities for spending $828,000 to upgrade and modernise the school that was contained in last week's state budget.
Buninyong MP Michaela Settle visited the school on Monday to tell the children about the funding and see the playground project.

"Schools are the heart of our communities, so it makes sense that we're investing in upgrades to support education and create local jobs," she said.
"The new sensory garden will create a space for teaching and help all students, regardless of disabilities or other differences, participate, learn, develop and succeed at Cape Clear."
