The club overcame challenging conditions to beat Creswick by 15 shots at home on Tuesday.
Central Wendouree skipper Col Johnson said windy weather made for a very difficult match.
"You lose confidence playing in this kind of weather," he said afterwards.
"They are a good competitive side, so it's a good win for us."
All three of Central's teams won their respective rinks. Johnson led the way with a 12-shot success over Beth Huntley, while Tony Gutteridge comfortably dispatched Bill Hetherington.
John Quick encountered the most resistance, edging out Creswick's Alan Annear by four shots.
Johnson heaped praise on teammate Len Vincent's performance at second.
"He was on fire and had it on a string," he said.
The win marked the third in a row for the club, which finished fifth last season. Johnson credited his fellow skippers, particularly John Quick who joined the club at the start of the season.
"He has made a big difference," he said.
Meanwhile Buninyong beat Midlands by six shots to maintain its perfect record after three matches. Norman Hand laid the platform to victory for the club with an 11-shot win over Eric Kosloff.
City Oval claimed its second triumph with a seven-shot victory over Bacchus Marsh.
BMS had an easy win over Sebastopol, while Webbcona thumped Clunes.
