Police from the Missing Persons Squad executed a search warrant at a property in Hickman Street on Tuesday night.
Along with forensic officers, they searched the house where Ms Parfitt was last seen before her suspected murder on April 28.
Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper said although the investigation was relatively fresh, there had been significant progress made.
The 43-year-old was only reported missing a few weeks ago, despite not being seen since April.
"We have returned to the area a number of times already and will continue to do so every time we receive new information," Detective Inspector Stamper said.
"I've said before, we know there are people in the community who know what happened to Kobie and we urge those who we haven't already spoken to, to contact us.
"We are continuing to receive a significant amount of information and it's a matter of time before those responsible for her death are arrested.
"Our investigators are sifting through every piece of information and I would like to thank the public for their continued response to our appeals for information and urge anyone else with information to come forward."
Police had previously said Ms Parfitt had been involved in drugs and crime in Ballarat before her disappearance.

However, it is not proven to be linked with her suspected murder.
Last week, Kobie's mother, Kathy Snowball, told The Courier that her family was living a nightmare.
Detective Inspector Stamper appealed to anyone with information about "where Kobie is, what happened to her and the persons responsible" to contact Crime Stoppers.
Anyone with information regarding Kobie's death is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
