The Indian national collapsed during a Ballarat Cricket Association first grade match on Saturday and has been in hospital ever since.
"He's been in regular contact, since he has been stabilised, with his teammates and I think that has been really good," North coach Darren Wilson said.
"He hasn't lost his sense of humour. He even sent through an apology to me that he couldn't make training last night so he's got a very dry sense of humour.
"He's going in very positive and I suppose what will be will be afterwards."
Wilson said the club had sent Saturday's opposition Ballarat-Redan a letter of gratitude for its handling of the situation and even had a Two Swords representative attend training on Tuesday.

He said the training run was a fairly informal one, but had allowed the North players to enjoy each other's company.
"It was just a good chance for the boys to get around each other and have a bit of a chat and so forth," he said.
Dabra was heading back to the crease following a drink break when his arm began to shake at Northern Oval on Saturday. After appearing to struggle with his helmet, he fell to the ground, prompting officials to call off the contest with one over to play.
The all-rounder is a first-year player in the BCA, having joined the Roosters after moving to Ballarat from Melbourne.
