The 37-year-old will open the batting in the Bulls' clash with East Ballarat at Russell Square.
He will enter the match with 5539 first grade run to his name - the third highest in club history. He has also taken 179 first grade wickets and boats a personal best batting score of 157.
His best bowling figures stand at 6-58.
"I've been around a long time, I'm getting a bit old now but I've finally got there," he said.
"There are only nine or 10 blokes at the club who have done it."
Knowles has spent almost all his career at Brown Hill, with brief stints at Geelong and Ballarat-Redan along the way.
He captained Brown Hill for seven years and won a first eleven premiership with the club in the 2014-15 season.
"We beat Darley outright to get into finals and won it from there," he said
