The 13-year-old took out honours in both singles and doubles at the event held in Bendigo last weekend.
It marked the first tournament hosted by Tennis Victoria since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Joyce's coach and father, Peter Joyce, said it was great to see his son play well.
"It's always great to win a tournament, it was a great feeling for him," he said.
"I was able to cancel my lessons and watch him play as well which was fantastic."
Joyce won five matches en-route to the final before dispatching Horsham native Logan Casey in the decider 6-4, 6-3.
Peter said he won most of his matches comfortably.
"He had his nose in front most if the way. There was a couple of tight moments but he had it under control," he said.
The performance marked the first major win in two years for Joyce.
His last tournament victory came at the Ballarat Silver JT in 2018.
He was unable to play for much of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He will next play a series of grass events in Shepparton, Geelong and Warrnambool.
