Kelly grabbed the opportunity on the Andrew Noblet-trained Can'tforgetyou at Murray Bridge on Saturday. - making it an all Ballarat victory.
"I'm so happy to do it for a Ballarat trainer as well," Kelly said.
Kelly has ridden more than 60 winners and the closest she had previously come to a city win had been in Melbourne.
It continues what has been a hectic start to the year for Kelly, who began 2021 with a win at Burrumbeet on New Year's Day.
She had ridden on all but one day since then leading up to her trip to South Australia.
BALLARAT trainer Archie Alexander also continued a bright start to the year with Saccharo scoring at Flemington on Saturday.
This followed wins with Barade in Queensland and a double at Stawell on Saturday. His Stawell winners included maiden Donatrice - a three-year-old filly raced by Ballarat-based harness racing operation Yabby Dam Farms.
