The two sides were locked together at 54 shots apiece and shared eight points each from the fixture.

Leah McArthur skippered a rink success for the home side, while Beth Huntley led her Creswick outfit to victory as Sarah Braybrook and Alan Annear played out a 16-16 draw.

Creswick is now sixth on the ladder, one spot ahead of Webbcona.

Elsewhere in round seven on Tuesday, Ballarat Memorial Sports extended Clunes' winless run with a 79-42 triumph, City Oval knocked over top team Central Wendouree, Buninyong was 20 shots too good for Sebastopol and Midlands thrashed Bacchus Marsh.

CLOSE CLASH: Beth Huntley skippered a Creswick rink win on Tuesday in the overall tie with Webbcona.
