The squad played three days of matches in Hamilton and concluded the carnival with victory over Warrnambool Gold in Wednesday's decider at Kennedy Oval.

Ballarat turned around its loss against Warrnambool from the day earlier, restricting the Gold side to just 6-55 from 20 overs.

Charli McLennan then continued her standout tournament with the bat, anchoring the run chase with an unbeaten 29 at the top of the order as Ballarat reached the target with nine wickets and more than eight overs in hand.

Jayda Wright took 3-9 to be the best of the Ballarat bowlers in the final.

Disappointingly for the BCA, the under-16 girls were beaten in the final by Warrnambool and District Cricket Association on a nearby oval.

The two teams met in round five earlier on Wednesday and the result was repeated in the decider.

Ballarat batted first and made 5-69 from its 20 overs, with Imogen O'Brien carrying her bat through the innings and finishing unbeaten on 29.

But the total was just not enough to hold Warrnambool and District at bay and it took 16 overs for the BCA's opponents to pass the total with the loss of only three wickets.

An under-18 carnival was also conducted during the week, but did not have a team from Ballarat involved. That final was won by Hamilton District Cricket Association, which defeated Warrnambool and District by 10 wickets.
