The all-jumps Grand National Steeplechase race day on Sunday, August 29, is the club's only date on the Victorian jumps racing calendar.
Ballarat had jumps events a second meeting last year.
The Grand National meeting has been moved back a week to ensure a two-week break from the penultimate meeting of the season.
Grand National Steeple day program:
$350,000 Grand National Steeplechase, 4500m
$125,000 JJ Houlihan Hurdle, 3200m
$50,000 Gotta Take Care 0-114 Hurdle, 3400m
$35,000 maiden hurdle, 3400m
$35,000 maiden hurdle, 3200m
$35,000 benchmark120 steeplechase, 2400m
Racing Victoria will use "one fit hurdles" all season after a successful trial last year.
The lightweight hurdles, which are a custom fitting closed-cell foam pad, provide a safer jump for horse and jockey.
