A 3.1 magnitude earthquake occurred just north of Glenorchy seven kilometres under the surface about 5.35am.
This morning's incident comes after a 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit just further north on Friday morning.
"Woke me up. Not as loud but we knew what it was," resident Nina Scott-Bohanna said on the Stawell Times-News Facebook page.
Cheryle Hunt said there was just "a slight rumble".
Craig Tuncks said the "windows gave a slight rattle and rumble lasted about 10 seconds."
Many said they slept through the minor rumble.
The SES said there were no early reports of damage.
