The Bulls stunned North Ballarat with just its second win of the season in the round 11 clash at the Western Oval on Saturday.
While the implications are not major, Brown Hill has for the moment stopped the Roosters in their tracks and cost them third position.

Prabath Priyankara had a major say for the Bulls with a hattrick at the top of the order.
North Ballarat was well placed at 0-40 with Dylan Achison on 21 and Leigh Lorenzen, 16, when the opening bowler struck.
He trappee Achiso lbw and then had Hugh McGregor caught first ball with the last ball of an over.

North Ballarat never fully recovered, with taking Jonah Healey, 55 (2 fours, 4 sixes), down the order ensuring a respectable total.
Priyankara finished with 5-27 off his 10 overs.
An in-form Tim Knowles, 40 (5 fours, 1 six), Sam Leith, 34 (5 fours, 1 six), and Viraj Pushpakumara, 34 (6 fours), did enough near the top of the order to get Brown Hill over the line.
It was Brown Hill's first win since round three.
THE loss for North Ballarat was softened by East Ballarat's win over Darley at Darley Park.
With each keen to bounce back after defeats, East Ballarat struggled to 8-121 on a day dominated by the ball.
Harry Ganley top scored with 25 from 65 balls and for the third match running Chris Jerram, 23, dug deep to get valuable runs late in the innings - this time combining with Darcy Thomson, 14, to put on a match-winning 42 for the ninth wicket.
Madushanka Ekanayaka took 4-23 for Darley.
If it was tough for the Hawks, it was more difficult for Darley, which managed only 116.
Only Rahmatullah Khwaja, 37, was able to get going.
East Ballarat stays on top of the ladder on percentage from Mt Clear, but Darley has slid to fifth.
GOLDEN Point has been the big mover in the two rounds off the break, with a second consecutuive win lifting it into the top six. The Pointies had been languishing in eighth.
