A person has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition following a two-car collision near Blampied on Wednesday morning.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed "two people are being treated for upper body injuries after an incident in Blampied about 10.20am".
"One person will be airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition," a spokesperson said in a statement.
"Another is being taken to Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition."

Emergency crews have rushed to a serious two-vehicle crash at a cross intersection in Blampied this morning.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Daylesford-Clunes Road and Mays Road.
The crash occurred about 10.20am, with one person believed to have been trapped in their car.
There are 'give way' signs at the intersection for traffic crossing or entering Daylesford-Clunes Road.
It is understood both cars ended up in a nearby paddock.
Full details of injuries are not yet known.
CFA rescue crews, police and paramedics were all on scene.
