Carngham overtook Haddon with a 10-wicket win over Linton Blue at Linton.
These two games will be repeated in the knockout semi-finals on Saturday: Carngham v Linton Blue at Snake Valley, Haddon v Ballarat Fire Brigade at Haddon.
A middle-order revival set up Fire Brigade's win over over Haddon after it looked in trouble at 2-12 and later 5-110.
Clint Ladiges, 50 not out (6 fours, 2 sixes), and Adrian Pilgrim, 15, put the home side back on track with a sixth wicket stand of 56 to ensure a testing total of 6-173.
Lann Hanson, 44 (7 fours), Brodie Doolan, 28, and Riley Anthony, 22, all made starts for Haddon, but wickets tumbled late with 4-15 lost as the Bears were dismissed for 164.
Carngham openers Chase Dummett, 95 not out, and Matthew Spratling, 43no, made short work of Linton.
