Firefighters and paramedics were called to Dry Diggings Track about 12.30pm, to reports a woman had fallen down an embankment.
Country Fire Authority firefighters from Daylesford and Hepburn responded to the incident with support from Fire Rescue Victoria.
It is understood the woman was located shortly after 1pm, after which fire crews set up their high angle rescue equipment to rescue her.
She was helped into the care of Ambulance Victoria about 1.50pm.
Paramedics assessed the woman at the scene.
She was not treated or transported to hospital.
