In recognition of International Women's Day and to promote respectful relationships in the school and wider community, the two schools battled St Joseph's and Sacred Heart College from Geelong.

The boys played the curtain raiser, St Patrick's taking the victory by 33 points, 11.6 (72) to 6.3 (39).
Loreto put up a great fight but ultimately fell by 11 points.
The combined scores of the two Ballarat schools meant that they claimed victory, taking home bragging rights and the Respect Cup.
The fixture is set to become an annual event going forward in recognition of International Women's Day.
The two cities with alternate the responsibility of hosting the games.
Ballarat will host in 2022.
